St Albans Rehearsal Orchestra, ‘SARO’ was founded in 2002, the brain child of Ron Bell, to provide an opportunity for persons available during the day who wish to get together simply to enjoy the making of music. As the word ‘rehearsal’ implies there is no commitment to a programme of concerts, although we do occasionally play for schools and for the elderly – see Outreach.
