 Social Activities

In addition to our regular rehearsal sessions we try to vary the opportunities that we have to play and the venues we play in, while at the same time having fun socialising. This may be simply a pub lunch or a whole day’s playing at Benslow Music Trust or a weekend’s House Party. Each summer we finish our programme with a Garden Party hosted by one of our members.

         Our second House Party weekend was held at the end of February, enjoying the opportunity to play music and relax in the Sussex countryside. Having the very talented violinist En Yuan join us on the Sunday to play the Scheherazade was much appreciated. It was the combined efforts of many members which worked to make it such a successful weekend.
