Members : The members comprise three different groups – there are those who are mothers with young children at school ; there are men and women who work part-time ; and finally there are the retired folk, both men and women.Their musical backgrounds vary over a wide range; Several are music teachers who come along to play their second or third instruments. Some of the older players are renewing their acquaintance with an instrument that has spent many years gathering dust in the loft. Others have taken up their instrument for the first time only a few years ago, maybe when they retired. All have the one thing in common : they enjoy playing with others.
