St. Albans Rehearsal Orchestra

Joining : the orchestra currently has 40 members – 25 strings, 14 winds and a timpanist. We could accommodate further strings in all sections but would especially welcome violins and double bass players. The wind section is full apart from the need for more French horns but our sister organisation ‘SARO Winds’ has vacancies. The orchestra is financially self-supporting and the termly fee is payable in advance. No auditions are necessary but a standard of grades 4 or 5 or above is advisable.
