SARO Winds was founded in 2004 and as its name implies it grew out of the St Albans Rehearsal Orchestra to accommodate an over flow wind and brass players.

Like SARO it shares the simple objective of providing an opportunity for those who enjoy making music together to do so, without any obligation to give formal concerts.
